Our carbon footprint
In keeping with our values, we publish our carbon footprint openly, honestly, and clearly on an annual basis.

What this means
When we talk about our ‘carbon footprint’, we simply mean the greenhouse gas pollution our business is responsible for.
How this was calculated
Our carbon footprint was calculated in line with the GHG Protocol by Green Business.
The footprint covers all significant sources of emissions across our operations, including a full assessment of upstream Scope 3 activities such as purchased goods and services and business travel. We believe this provides a more honest picture of our environmental impact.
While we do our best to be accurate, some parts of our footprint rely on estimated data, particularly within our supply chain. We are working to improve data quality over time.
What we are doing about it
Our priority is to reduce emissions directly within our operations. We have multiple policies in place covering AI, travel, and beyond that prioritise carbon emissions reduction. We consider the environmental impact of every action we take.
As we grow as a business, we will set annual targets for intensity carbon emissions reduction - that is, ensuring that as the business grows, our footprint remains as low as possible.
We take responsibility for our emissions and do not rely on offsetting schemes or make claims that suggest our emissions have been cancelled out elsewhere. However, we choose to support environmental projects as a contribution to wider goals and as a recognition of our ongoing impact on the planet. So far, we have supported a water filter project and a renewable energy wind power project in India.
